The Phoenix Biomedical Campus, as well as the various other colleges in Phoenix, are often located on open campuses that are not actively guarded at all times. While the University provides excellent security and our relationship with local law enforcement ensures that we are monitored and safe, emergencies can occur both externally and internally. Being prepared for these events creates a safe and aware community. The resources below are designed to prepare you in the event of an emergency. When to Call 9-1-1:

If someone is injured or ill.
If you see fire or smell smoke.
If you see someone being hurt.
If you see anything suspicious.
If you see someone stealing or damaging something.
If you see a drunk driver.
Or any other emergency.

Call quickly! Do not assume someone else has made the call. Try to provide the dispatcher with accurate, detailed information about the problem. Stay on the telephone until the dispatcher or police officer tells you it's okay to hang up.
