Throughout the year, the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Office of Diversity and Inclusion offers workshops and sessions to encourage learning and understanding about our communities, foster inclusion in the health care environment and gain valuable knowledge about health issues facing our diverse populations.

Workshops and sessions regularly provided at the College of Medicine – Phoenix are also available to other colleges on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus and to the college's affiliates. In addition, departments may request a custom workshop to meet specific information needs. If you are interested in requesting a workshop, please fill out a workshop request form. Toastmasters International

Say it better with Toastmasters! Do you want to become a confident public speaker and improve your leadership skills? In Toastmasters, you will find a supportive, learn-by-doing environment that allows you to achieve your goals at your own pace. 

University of Arizona College of Pharmacy Phoenix student, Kristin Shelledy, has extended an invitation to the students, faculty, and staff on the Phoenix Biomedical Campus to participate in a new charter club of Toastmasters. UACBT offers 24/7 availability of FREE online training to over 1000+ courses and 98,000+ video tutorials, covering a broad range of topics and applications.

Medical Spanish Online Course

UAHS has secured an unlimited number of licenses for an online, self-paced, three-part medical Spanish course for students, residents, faculty and staff. This course is offered free of charge.

Microsoft Imagine Academy
The Imagine Academy is a subscription-based membership program designed to help academic institutions offer students and faculty learning solutions for IT skills training and certification as well as technology essentials for professionals. This is a FREE service offered to current UA students, faculty and staff at all campus locations.

Coursera is an education platform that partners with top universities and organizations worldwide, to offer courses online for anyone to take.

Founded by Harvard University and MIT in 2012, edX is an online learning destination and MOOC provider, offering high-quality courses from the world’s best universities and institutions to learners everywhere.

Khan Academy
Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.
